Kripalu Yoga

This class shows the body how it can create inner peace. Kripalu Yoga is gentle and compassionate, utilizing self-observation while in basic hatha yoga poses. Class will be at a level appropriate to everyone in attendance and will encourage integration of class content as a tool for health, relaxation, and stress-reduction. No previous yoga experience is needed.

Relax and renew with this 45 or 60-minute class designed to
give your body-mind the noontime break it needs for optimal creativity,
productivity and fulfillment. Invest your lunch hour into your self-care;
return to your work environment feeling balanced, energized and refreshed. This
class will be appropriate for all levels and instruction will be geared towards
those in attendance.

Restorative Yoga

Quiet. Calm. Serenity. Peace. Welcome these conditions back into the body. Through deep relaxation and gentle poses, Restorative Yoga dissolves stress and fatigue, and allows useful energy to refill in your life. All levels are invited to join.

 

Svaroopa Yoga

Using fully supported poses and alignments, this yoga method loosens spinal tension while creating inner harmony. Svaroopa Yoga is therapeutically beneficial for chronic back pain. It’s easy to learn and valuable for overall health. Open to all levels. Come join us; let go, and experience the bliss of your being.

Yoga for Strength and Flexibility

Appropriate for all levels of practice, this class offers a more vigorous sequence of postures designed to strengthen not only the physical body but also the mind. Inner focus and commitment, integrity of self-awareness, and attunement to the intelligence of the body itself are encouraged as a means to bring a high level of fluidity and integrity to the system. More advanced pranayama and seated meditation are incorporated as appropriate.

Yoga for Healthy Weight

Through basic hatha yoga postures, breathing, relaxation and visualization techniques, this class will seek to help participants create a more conscious and healthy relationship with their bodies and with food. Introductory nutrition and wellness concepts, group sharing and personal introspection will be incorporated as appropriate. No
previous yoga experience needed.

Yoga for Stress Management and Relaxation

This class offers basic hatha yoga, relaxation, breathing and meditation techniques. Appropriate for beginners and anyone who is seeking gentle practice.

Yoga for Health and Relaxation

This class offers a meditative yoga posture flow that incorporates basic spinal opening, relaxation, and gentle toning and strengthening for the entire body-mind. Appropriate for beginners and for those who desire a more moderate practice.

Yoga for Inner Balance

Posture flow currently is based on Svaroopa yoga
methodology, and includes balancing breathing and meditation practices.

Circlework

Being in the circle implies confidentiality, respect for oneself and others, and compassion - no judgment, fixing, or therapy. Circle activities may include body movement and dance, meditation and introspection, group ritual, storytelling and poetry, journaling, and sharing. When we find the courage to share our personal stories, we begin to recognize them as collective experiences; our sense of isolation dissolves and healing takes place.
